Purple Glazier

Stunning deep purple skin and pink cloves, a tall delicate plant with deep green leaves.

Purple Glazer is a truly unique variety.  Unlike many purples it consistently performs well in our northern climate.  Skins are delicate and early harvest is recommended with at least 4 green leaves remaining.  Each bulb has 7-10 potent cloves.

The taste is wonderful. Purple Glazer gives a sweet gentle flavour with some zest in the finish.  If you've had uninspiring results with purples in the past Purple Glazer will change that perception.
