Transylvanian

Sourced straight from eastern Europe, this ancient variety lives up to its name. Bulbs typically have 7-10 plump cloves, skins are a unifomr cream colour. We have yet to find a better softneck year after year for bulb size in Canada.  

Maturity is early, a slightly green harvest is recommended. Highly adaptable to northern or southern climates.

Known to work well at keeping bad things away!
